Praise the Lord! You are so good!
Have you ever stopped in the middle of an ordinary day and thought about how good Jesus has been to you?
Sometimes, we become so busy praying for what we still need that we forget to thank God for what He has already done. We focus on unanswered prayers, difficult seasons, financial worries, and the things we wish were different. Yet, even in the middle of life's challenges, we have a beautiful reason to worship: Jesus Christ is Lord, He loves us, and He is worthy of our praise.
That is the heart behind “Praise the Lord (You Are So Good),” a joyful Christian worship song by Grace Harmonies.
This song is an invitation to lift our voices, remember the goodness of God, celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, and rejoice in His resurrection. It reminds us that worship is not something we reserve only for the days when everything goes according to plan. We can praise Him in the waiting, in the healing, in the ordinary moments, and through every season of life.
My prayer is that this song will fill your heart with gratitude, strengthen your faith, and remind you that Jesus deserves the highest praise.

The Lord Is Good: A Bible Promise Worth Remembering
One of the central messages of this song comes from Psalm 100:5.
“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” — Psalm 100:5 (KJV)
What a wonderful promise!
God's goodness is not dependent on whether we are having a perfect day. His mercy is everlasting, and His faithfulness continues from generation to generation.
There will be days when we feel joyful and full of energy. There will also be days when we feel tired, disappointed, or uncertain about the future. But God's character does not change with our circumstances.
When we sing, “Praise the Lord! You are so good!” we are reminding our hearts of who God is.
We praise Him because He is worthy. We thank Him for His mercy. We worship Him because He has shown His love for us through Jesus Christ.
Perhaps today you are still waiting for an answer to prayer. Maybe you are facing a challenge that seems too difficult to overcome. You do not need to pretend that everything is perfect before you can worship.
Take a deep breath. Remember God's faithfulness. Thank Him for the gift of life, for the grace that sustains you, and for the salvation offered through Jesus.
Sometimes, praise begins with a simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, thank You for being with me today.”
Praise Him from the Rising of the Sun
Psalm 113:3 (KJV) says:
“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.”
I love the picture this verse gives us. From the moment we wake up until we lay our heads down at night, our lives can become an offering of worship to God.
Praise is not limited to a church service, a worship concert, or a special Christian event. We can worship Jesus while preparing breakfast, travelling to work, spending time with our loved ones, or quietly reflecting on His goodness.
When you wake up in the morning, you can thank Him for another day.
When you encounter a difficult situation, you can ask Him for wisdom and strength.
When something wonderful happens, you can give Him the glory.
And when the day has been difficult, you can still rest in His presence and remember that He has not stopped loving you.
The lyrics of “Praise the Lord (You Are So Good)” encourage us to make praise a daily expression of our faith.
Let your morning begin with gratitude. Let your conversations reflect His love. And let your heart remember Jesus throughout the day.
At the Cross, Jesus Showed Us the Greatest Love
The second verse of this worship song takes us to the most important event in the Christian faith: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At the cross, Jesus gave His life for us. He bore our sins so that through Him we could receive forgiveness and be reconciled to God.
Romans 5:8 (KJV) declares:
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Think about that for a moment.
Jesus did not wait for us to become perfect before He demonstrated His love. He came to save sinners and offer us the gift of grace.
We cannot earn salvation through our good works or religious achievements. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9).
And the story does not end at the cross.
Jesus rose from the dead! The resurrection is at the centre of our Christian hope. Because He lives, we have the promise of eternal life through Him.
As 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) reminds us:
“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
That is a reason to praise!
When we sing about the cross and the empty grave, we are celebrating the love of our Saviour, the victory of the risen Lord, and the hope that is found in Him alone.
Jesus Is Lord: The Name Above Every Name
The chorus repeatedly declares that Jesus is our Lord.
This is more than a catchy worship lyric. It is a declaration of faith.
Philippians 2:9–11 teaches that God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name above every name, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
To call Jesus Lord is to recognise His authority and surrender our lives to Him.
It means trusting Him with our past, present, and future. It means allowing His Word to guide our decisions, His love to shape our relationships, and His truth to direct our steps.
We may not always understand what God is doing. We may struggle with doubts or feel uncertain about what comes next. But we can continue learning to trust the One who gave Himself for us.
Jesus is not simply someone we turn to when we need help. He is our Saviour, our Lord, and the One worthy of our whole-hearted worship.
May our praise be more than the words we sing. May
